Moara Tupinambá

Moara Tupinambá was born in Mairi, Belém do Pará, Brazil, and is a visual artist and activist curator. She uses drawing, painting, collages, installations, writing, video interviews, photographs and literature. Her poetics cover cartographies of Tupinambá memory, identity, ancestry and reaffirmation in the Amazon. She is vice-president of the Wyka Kwara association. She is the author of the book The Dream of Buya-Wasú, published by Miolo Mole.
