Atua como artista, curador, designer e articulador de cultura digital. É um dos fundadores da Rádio Yandê, a primeira rádio indígena web do Brasil. Como curador, esteve à frente de mostras tais como: “Terra Brasilis: o agro não é pop!” (2018), na Galeria de Arte da Universidade Federal Fluminense, em Niterói, e “Nakoada: Estratégias para a arte moderna”, no MAM-Rio. Como artista visual, já recebeu diversos prêmios, realizou diversas residências e já expôs em instituições como o CCBB, CCSP, Centro de Artes Hélio Oiticica, Museu Afro Brasil, MASP, MAR, Bienal de Sydney e Getty Research Institute, em Los Angeles. Na Pinacoteca de São Paulo, no âmbito da exposição “Véxoa: Nós sabemos” (2020), Denilson foi responsável pela obra “Nada que é dourado permanece 1: Hilo”, que consistia na plantação e cultivo de um jardim em parte do estacionamento do museu. Esse trabalho se desdobra na presente ocupação do Octógono da Pina Luz.
